Roxanne Flores (she/her/ella) is a proud first-generation Latina from Los Angeles and a UC Davis alumna, where she earned her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Chicana/o/x Studies. She has over 10 years of experience supporting students in education, including four years providing holistic, culturally informed academic advising at UC Davis.

Roxanne currently serves as the Interim Academic Advisor for Chicana/o/x Studies and an Academic Success Advisor at El Centro – Chicanx and Latinx Retention Initiative. She is passionate about helping students navigate their academic journey, connect with campus resources, and build a strong sense of belonging. She also co-facilitates quarterly academic seminars as a commitment to create a space where students feel academically supported and empowered.

Outside of UC Davis, Roxanne is pursuing a master's degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education at the University of San Francisco. In her free time, she enjoys drinking cafecitos, building LEGO sets, knitting, playing board and trading card games, and spending time with her rescue pups, Zuko and Buffy.
