Our staff and peer advisors are here to support you on your academic journey. Our advisors are available during the weekdays to assist you with academic planning, course selections, career explorations, connecting you with resources and much MORE!

Advising Appointments

All students can schedule an appointment with our advisors, you do not have to be a declared major to meet with our advisors. If you are not a declared CHI major, search for “Department of Chicana/o/x Studies” in the appointment system to schedule an appointment.

In-person Advising Hours

Roxanne Flores: Monday/Wednesday 9 am-11 am, Tuesday/Thursday 2 pm-5 pm

Julian Aguilar: Tuesday/Thursday 9 am- 12 pm, Wednesday 1 pm-4 pm

Emely Vargas: Monday 12 pm- 4 pm, Friday 9 am-2 pm
