Alma Martinez has over 14 years of experience in holistic academic advising and student advocacy in both academic and student affairs. Currently, Alma is the Academic Counselor in the Department of Chicana/o Studies. Alma has a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in Development Studies and Economics and a M.A. in Leadership in Social Justice. Alma, from the Bay Area enjoys sports, music, dancing and singing although she can barely carry a note.
